BMCR is the organized Black caucus of The United Methodist Church. We are one of the United Methodist denomination’s five U.S.-based racial-ethnic caucuses. National BMCR represents and is dedicated to the interests of more than 2,400 Black United Methodist congregations and approximately 500,000 African American members.

Our vision is to create a world where everyone can live in peace and harmony, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds. We believe that Louisiana BMCR has the power to bring people together and to heal the divisions that so often tear us apart.

Our community is made up of people from all walks of life, united by a shared faith and a desire to make the world a better place. We believe that everyone has something to offer, and that by working together, we can achieve great things.

At Louisiana BMCR, we believe in the importance of compassion, kindness, and respect. We strive to embody these principles in everything we do, and we encourage others to do the same. We believe that by treating others with love and understanding, we can create a better world for all.
